How do I know when to replace a rooftop unit?
Age alone does not decide it. We look at age and condition together: an old unit in good shape can be budgeted for a future year, while an old unit in poor shape goes to the top of the list. A newer unit in poor shape needs its cause found before anything is replaced.
Does hail damage rooftop units?
It can. Hail flattens condenser coil fins and dents cabinets, which reduces airflow and capacity. After a hailstorm we can inspect rooftop equipment and document what we find for your records or an insurance claim.
Can you work around business hours?
Where the work allows, yes. Maintenance can often be done before opening, and replacements that need a crane are scheduled with you well ahead.
Do you work on homes too?
Yes. Commercial work leads, but we repair, maintain and replace furnaces, air conditioners and heat pumps in houses across Longmont and the surrounding towns.
Does Harrison do painting or finishing work?
No. Despite the word “Finishes” in the name, Harrison is a heating, ventilation and air conditioning contractor only.
